Gucci Mane Blasts DJ Envy & Angela Yee Over Rumored 'The Breakfast Club' Ban, Envy Responds
After dropping his Woptober II project, Gucci Mane sat down with radio personality Charlamagne Tha God for an all-encompassing interview on Monday (Oct. 21) talking mental health, staying faithful to his wife, new music and even addressed The Breakfast Club' s Angela Yee and DJ Envy about the rumored ban from the radio show, which CTG says isn't true.
"It came from that punkass bitch and DJ Envy. He's a pussy, too," Gucci said of who he believed banned him. "I'm gonna give him his face-to-face because me and him never had no issue. I'm gonna confront him about what he and Angela did."
Yee addressed the allegations of getting flirty with Guwop in a resurfaced 2010 interview earlier this month, which she originally denied ever happening during their viral 2016 exchange on The Breakfast Club. "Don't ever act like you didn't try to do it. You did," he told Charlamagne. "She disrespected herself. She shouldn't have made a big deal out of something. Now she's embarassed."
Gucci also threatened to get physical with Envy if their future face-to-face conversation ever called for it. "I'ma confront him about what he and Angela did, and if he come at me wrong, I'ma slap the shit out him," he said. "It ain't gonna be his first time getting slapped."
Envy wasn't blindsided by Gucci's words, as he'd already listened to the interview prior to its Monday (Oct. 22) release. "This isn't the 1st time I've been threatened by an artist and probably won't be the last time," Envy responded on Instagram. "I never been slapped, or snuffed or jumped before so not sure where that came from... but funny by all means... @laflare1017 was never banned from the @breakfastclubam."
